This movie had it all. It was somewhat predictable but enough originality to keep you interested. There were some "stolen" parts from e.g. the matrix but it didn't really bother me because I felt they made most of it into their own thing. I love the way the story is told and the way it is shot. I think they have used some different ways in these areas which works really well.
It has flaws but I really don't mind because it is so amazing and the music is incredible -

fast-paced and involves lots of new things for the action movies genre....it's as groundbreaking as the first Matrix. James McAvoy delivers a superb performance, while Angelina Jolie? well.....I still don't like her haha.....;P

I never liked Angelina Jolie, but with this movie, sure is now I am a fan of Angelina. She is just perfect for the role with finess

MCT:September 6, 2008the first seventy minutes of this movie are awesome. simply incredible. but when the story starts to kick in, it has no gravity, and therefore cannot climax. a good ball dropped.

MCT:September 5, 2008A slightly less than average action flick that relies on slo-mo and it's curvy bullet gimmick way too much. A lot of the plot you can see coming and a lot of it is stupid, a fucking magic loom? C'mon! It's kinda fun to see Morgan Freeman drop some F bombs but James McAvoy is annoying as hell.

Give up all you know about gravity and ballistic science and just enjoy the ride! Like Fight Club meets Mission Impossible on speed this actioner takes Matrix-esque scenes to a whole new level. You have never seen bullets used like that before (or train wrecks, for that matter). To add to the pleasant surprise, the movie doesn't take itself too seriously, and is still dramatic, funny yet exciting. McAvoy proves once again to be one of the coming stars, able to play anything and giving this cardboard character a lot of life. Jolie is just herself and that's cool. Additionally the story is not as easy to predict as it first seems. So all around comic action fun and pretty much perfect popcorn entertainment. At least if you don't mind a few really nasty wounds.

I just went to the premiere of Wanted last night & I must say it was worth seeing. It had so much action filled with lots & lots of gunfights, blood & gore to go along with it. It definitly deserved an R-rating for sure. The rating is wat made the movie win & come to life big time. I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Probably the best action movie I've ever seen. All the cast did such a wonderful job with their character especially James McVoy. I was really suprised from him. He defintly pulled his character off. He Played a great Wesley Gibson for this movie especially with his american accent. Hope he stars in a whole lot more movies with that american accent of his. He'll be big one of these days with it. In the end,everybody should definitly go see this movie. Its a must see. So go see it, u wont regret it. Its worth paying every penny for. Its a movie especially for action junkies. And even if your not one of them you'll still love it b/c it has a good since of humor in it too which makes it a whole lot more entertaining. Wanted is the best summer blockbuster so far to date.

Loved it!!!! This was the one of the best action films that I've seen in a long time. My only regret was not seeing it a second time in the theater. This will be a must own on DVD or Blue-Ray.

An OK action film that makes absolutely no effort to make its central premise- of magically meandering bullets deployed by a secret society of weavers- believable. I guess that's part of the fun- plus there's Angelina Jolie, who is, as always, a sight for sore eyes. James McAvoy, who was very good in the Last King of Scotland, makes his debut as an action star. He reminds me a lot of the Spiderman character played by Tobey Maguire: like Mr. Maguire, he does try ever so hard to be believable- less than superhuman- but given the overall theme of this film, it doesn't really work. Still, good fun if you want to kill...well, not anyone in particular, but just some time.

A Friend is dying to see this Movie, as he is a Jolie Fan and after watching and enjoying the Movie Gone in 60 Seconds with him. I will definitely go watch WANTED only with him.

Yes people I think it did I love Timurs other films he did in Russia and i believe this is his first American debut and its a amazing film my only compliant is the over shaky camera work at times other then that its a amazing flick that should be in every film fans collection.(nn)

An ordinary persn who iz not medically cent percent iz selectd as an assassin just due to that medical flaw . . And then by the time his company decided to dump him . . . he was ready to take them down . . . And specially JOLIE was breath takin, particularly when she went for the last decisin . . !

Wanted was by far one of the very best action movies this year. It was a very fun wild ride from start to finish. It had many twists, turns, gore, blood, and action. Just strap in and get ready for one hell of a roller coaster ride. It kind of got confusing at some parts in the movie so you have to pay attention very close. You would be surprised how many funny parts and jokes they had in this movie. I was also stunned by all the twists and turns the movie took toward the end. By the end of this movie it will leave you shocked. The acting could not have been any better. Angelina Jolie did an amazing job playing an assassin. James McEvoy was funny but also at the same time very serious when it came down to killing people. Morgan Freeman was very good as usual and brought a lot to this film. The stunts in this movie have no words to describe how good they were. The gun techniques were outstanding. Some of the things they do with the gun though is very fake and far-fetched. I think that the movie was even better because of it getting an R rating. This movie definitely deserved one and you will notice during the movie. If it didn't get the R rating it wouldn't have been a s good as it was. Overall this movie is a must see movie. It is worth every penny to go see it. The one must see movie of the year is WANTED.

One word: exaggerated; which is not necessarily a bad thing... there were some really nice shots and memorable scenes. I didn't expect much, but I left the theater quite satisfied.

The plot was lacking, the ending pointless. Cool stunts but stunts don't make a good movie by themselves. Worst A.J. movie I've seen to date.

Very good story line. The action scenes very thrilling. All film goers must view the movie. If any one miss the film, that means missing a wonderful experience.

I do want to see it, but i feel like im goin to be disapointed. I got the comic ( which if one of the best series i have read ), & the casting seems a bit...fucked up. Fox was a black chick who looks exactly like Halle Berry & Wesley looks like a taller Eminem. Im not sure who plays who in the other characters but it will seem weird watching it. But i do hope they kept characters like Fuckwit ( worlds greatest super-hero with the down syndrome ) & Shithead ( made from the shit of 666 most evil villians, like Hitler & Ed Gein )
