Would like to see at some stage.

This sucked. BIG time. Goes to show you can NEVER trust the filmmakers to make a good rendition of a novel, although there have been exceptions.
This is NOT one of those exceptions.
Watch it if you want to be bored out of your mind. -
Being a fan of the horror genre, and Being a bigger fan of Stephen King, I actually own this movie on DVD. Purely because it is a Stephen King story, and I get all his movies on DVD. I watched it once, and it has remained on the self in my living room collecting dust.
The girls at work were watching this behind the nurse's station today. I had to laugh, because it just reminded me of how awful the film really is.
Sleepwalkers is the story of an incestuous mother and son demonic duo. Who lure virgins in, to prey on them. If you're thinking that sounds interesting, let me save you the brain cells, it is not.
Sleepwalkers is full of horrid, inauspicious acting and a practically non existing plot. Not even Brian Krause could save this fondue pot of moldy cheese, and I am a Charmed fan.
Stephen King is a truly brilliant author with a vivid imagination and fantastic detail rich stories. His dramas are always epic, when they hit the big screen. However, as this movie proves, his horror stories can be in the bullseye or one hundred and fifty feet below the target!
This movie's one redeeming feature for me, is that the creepy couple dance to Santo and Johnny's Sleepwalk, a time or two. I love that song, it's the ultimate slow dance song. -
Odd direction, choppy story. Way too much unexplained. I loved the incestuous relationship of the mother and son. Truly animalistic. Alice Krige is wonderful in this as the mother. I've seen this several times. I don't know why. See it at least once if you have an interest in horror.

its a good triller ,the relation of the mother with her son is a little unhealthy but well is a triller everything can happend
-
I REALLY LIKED THIS MOVIE I THOUGHT IT WAS A LITTLE SICK THAT THE MOTHER WAS FUCKING THE SON BUT YOU CANT CALL A MOVIE HORROR WITH OUT THERE BEING SOME SICK SHIT CREEPY SHIT IN IT HOW CRAZY WAS IT THOUGH THAT THOSE BIG UGLY MONSTERS WOULD BE AFRAID OF A FUCKING CAT
-
For real, this i's a bad movie, but I don't know, it has a kind of charm...
Only for 80's horror movie fans, specially the ones that find Freddy funny -
Has Alice Krige who plays the Borg Queen in it as a creepy controlling mom. Fun little suspenseful movie.
-
WOW! L'ambiance est cheap-bonne des années 80, mais avec un certain sentiment de malaise...puis le 'beau' Brian Krause qui doit nourrir sa mère..ahh...eh bien t. bien ce film
-
Great movie! Directed by Mick garris Stephen King fans and horror fans should check it out! The guy is hot and great cameo by Stephen King! Alice Crige stars (The borg queen star trek).
-
Wasn't sure how to rate this,so I went with how I normally rate films on my enjoyment.Has a great cast full of well-known directors such as Clive Barker,Stephen King,Tobe Hooper,John Landis, and Joe Dante. The boy's werewolf/vampyre face looked kinda fake though, but overall this was a fun, enjoyable film...fit for all sorts of cat-lovers.
-
The best part in this entire movie is the one where the police officer or whoever got stabbed with a corn on the cob. I almost died laughing.
-
This movie is great these people are half human half cat they are sleepwalkers they feed on other people and its a good movie
-
Shape shifting into felines, sucking the life force out of their young victims, mother son relationship that is just wrong but it's a pretty ok movie.
-
not to bad has its moments and its dumb parts.
the costumes for the sleepwalkers looks cool. its an alright movie -
Eine typische Stephan King Verfilmung: Am Anfang scheint die Story solide und spannnend aufgebaut zu sein, doch mit der Zeit überwiegt das sinnlose und langweilige Monsterdasein.
-
It was a pretty good movie. Even though its sort of old. They looked like fucked up aliens to me,lol. I felt bad for all those cats but it was funny seeing them hang. That was fucked up how the mother and the dude were doing... you Know, oh come on thats her son those dirty pervs, lol.
-
King's catty adventure is ok i guess for the time... abit pants now!
Look out for Herman Munster too as the judge! lol! -
Like most movies from books this lacks depth. I've gotta say i liked it tho, completely bizarre off the wall 'horror' that is about as scary as me when i wake up. The funniest ever killing I've seen with a 'corn on the cob' used as the murder weapon!! it doesn't get much better than that does it?
-
this is a mother-and-son team who are the last of these sleepwalkers (evil supernatural beings who feed on the life force of young women). Their search for more victims brings them to a small town where an unsuspecting high school students falls for the male Sleepwalker and gets invited home for a feast.
-
i thought this was a great movie for its time, especially the special effects, when the car disappears. it was almost a sad movie, sad in that you felt bad for the sleepwalkers.
-
Incestuous cat people - wait this sound kinda like that movie... what was the name of it?... Cat... People... right, Cat People (1982)...
-
Saw this ages ago, and it was boring. You will just get disapointed when/if you watch it.
The only good thing about it is that Brian Krause (Charmed) are in it. -
If ya love cats, this is a good S.K thriller, but sick where the mother is concerned, she is the pediophile, shocking images of her kissing her grown son.
-
As a kid this movie was scary and really weird ... nowadays its still sorta weird but not scary. The relationship between the son and mother is gross and makes you cringe. Other than that it's an alright film.
