Plot: A mother-and-son team of strange supernatural creatures come to town to seek out a virgin to feed on.
its a good triller ,the relation of the mother with her son is a little unhealthy but well is a triller everything can happend
I REALLY LIKED THIS MOVIE I THOUGHT IT WAS A LITTLE SICK THAT THE MOTHER WAS FUCKING THE SON BUT YOU CANT CALL A MOVIE HORROR WITH OUT THERE BEING SOME SICK SHIT CREEPY SHIT IN IT HOW CRAZY WAS IT THOUGH THAT THOSE BIG UGLY MONSTERS WOULD BE AFRAID OF A FUCKING CAT
For real, this i's a bad movie, but I don't know, it has a kind of charm...
Only for 80's horror movie fans, specially the ones that find Freddy funny
Has Alice Krige who plays the Borg Queen in it as a creepy controlling mom. Fun little suspenseful movie.
WOW! L'ambiance est cheap-bonne des années 80, mais avec un certain sentiment de malaise...puis le 'beau' Brian Krause qui doit nourrir sa mère..ahh...eh bien t. bien ce film
Great movie! Directed by Mick garris Stephen King fans and horror fans should check it out! The guy is hot and great cameo by Stephen King! Alice Crige stars (The borg queen star trek).
The best part in this entire movie is the one where the police officer or whoever got stabbed with a corn on the cob. I almost died laughing.
Shape shifting into felines, sucking the life force out of their young victims, mother son relationship that is just wrong but it's a pretty ok movie.
not to bad has its moments and its dumb parts.
the costumes for the sleepwalkers looks cool. its an alright movie
It was a pretty good movie. Even though its sort of old. They looked like fucked up aliens to me,lol. I felt bad for all those cats but it was funny seeing them hang. That was fucked up how the mother and the dude were doing... you Know, oh come on thats her son those dirty pervs, lol.
King's catty adventure is ok i guess for the time... abit pants now!
Look out for Herman Munster too as the judge! lol!
Like most movies from books this lacks depth. I've gotta say i liked it tho, completely bizarre off the wall 'horror' that is about as scary as me when i wake up. The funniest ever killing I've seen with a 'corn on the cob' used as the murder weapon!! it doesn't get much better than that does it?
this is a mother-and-son team who are the last of these sleepwalkers (evil supernatural beings who feed on the life force of young women). Their search for more victims brings them to a small town where an unsuspecting high school students falls for the male Sleepwalker and gets invited home for a feast.
Incestuous cat people - wait this sound kinda like that movie... what was the name of it?... Cat... People... right, Cat People (1982)...
Saw this ages ago, and it was boring. You will just get disapointed when/if you watch it.
The only good thing about it is that Brian Krause (Charmed) are in it.
If ya love cats, this is a good S.K thriller, but sick where the mother is concerned, she is the pediophile, shocking images of her kissing her grown son.
Nice atmosphere, gorgeous females in the form of Mädchen "Twin Peaks" Amick and Alice "First Contact" Krige, but a very thin script.
Not seen this film in ages, but remember it being pretty good. Great the way he can change the car hes driving in
The film's opening (with Enya's "Boadicea" playing over the credits) promised an atmospheric horror film drenched in loneliness, akin to Paul Shrader's remake of "The Cat People". The film, alas, opts to delve in the realm of cheese. It is one big joke of a movie, a complete and utter mess.
The atmosphere promised to us so cruelly by Enya's only good (and damn good it is) track is only matched by small sequences (Brady's poem, the cats gathering outside the house, "Boadicea" once again playing over the end credits) as the rest of the film is too preoccupies with its jokes, make-up and cameos. Mick Garris is, once again, directing at the peak of his abilities, making the whole thing look and feel like a made-for-tv production.
On the subject of cameos it must be said that during Stephen King's long and illustrious carreer his teeth have not gotten any smaller, and he has not learned how to deliver a line that was not cringe inducing in its awfulness. The lone exception might be his role in Creepshow, his performance in which took on a sort of epic badness that kept it watcheable.
Alice Kriege is great in her role (as always, and gorgeous, as always) but no one else is up to the task. With this script, I can't blame them. The film is watchrable because it is harmless. It is not offensive, has a good soundtrack ("Sleepwalk" by Santos and Johnny also makes an appearance) and won't kill you. Make no mistake about it, however. It is no damn good.
i have always been a fan of stephen king's novels but this one definitely is not one of my favorites. the special effects were bad and the acting was even worse.
