Nightmare on Elm Street was the first Horror movie I ever fell in love with. Robert England really kick butt in this movie, he has done other roles in the past but this one is the one he will always be remembered by. But I do have to admit when he played " Willy " from the series " V ". That wasn't to bad as well and also there was Wishmaster. But Nightmare is far better than any of those.

the best horror movie i have ever seen , and iv seen quite a few. by far the most frightning of the nightmare on elm streets and the only one that never made me burstst out in laughter. missing the death humor of all the other films it has a very sinicter nature and does not humor you atall. the classic slasher that everyone should see before saying slashers arnt frightning. the scene with the bloody bag was inspirational for all other horror movies from there after. the whole concept of this serise was ingenious , peoples natural fear of the unknown and dreams mixed into one spine tingling thrill that will have your adrenaline pumping.

A great horror needs a really evil villian and a very good cast, this movie has it all, not only does it have a great villian but it also has a great plot and thats why i like this film. What more can you ask for in a horror movie, it has all the main ideas for a great horror movie. Love it so so much and i wanna watch it over and over again, and its a great cuddle movie. WATCH IT WATCH IT!
